YARD x The Moment Portugal 2026: WhoMadeWho, Damian Lazarus, Dennis Cruz & More

One last dance before summer disappears. On September 11–12, YARD Portugal will close out its 2026 season by joining forces with The Moment, the Copenhagen-born festival concept founded by WhoMadeWho, for two days of music, art and design among Portugal’s surreal White Sand Mountains. Titled One Last Summer Dance, the collaboration brings together WhoMadeWho, Damian Lazarus, Dennis Cruz, DJ Tennis, Jimi Jules, JAMIIE, Avangart Tabldot, Luch, Brunello and Anthony, with further artists still to be announced. But this one feels as much about where it's happening as who's playing. The Moment Lands in Portugal Created around WhoMadeWho’s wider creative world, The Moment has taken its groove-led approach to dancefloors across destinations including Egypt, Morocco and Brazil. September marks the concept’s arrival in Portugal, where it will merge with YARD’s own focus on electronic music, art, design and unusual environments. WhoMadeWho will headline both days, but with two different performances. The Danish trio will perform live on Friday, before returning for a Hybrid set on Saturday, offering two sides of the genre-blurring sound that has made them one of electronic music’s most recognisable live acts. Around them, the weekend moves through house, techno and melodic sounds. Damian Lazarus and DJ Tennis bring two distinct approaches to the deeper and more left-field corners of the dancefloor, while Dennis Cruz brings the groove. Jimi Jules also joins the programme alongside JAMIIE, Avangart Tabldot, Luch, Brunello and Anthony. A Festival Between White Dunes and Rock Formations Then there's the location. YARD’s home in Setúbal’s White Sand Mountains looks almost removed from the traditional European festival circuit. White dunes and dramatic rock formations surround the site, providing a natural backdrop for its Main Stage and Heart Stage. Rather than overpowering the landscape, YARD uses lighting, production, visual installations and art to build around it. It's an approach that has become central to the Portuguese brand’s identity. The surrounding region adds another dimension. The site sits within the wider landscape of Azeitão and Arrábida Natural Park, an area of vineyards, historic architecture, coastline and some of Portugal’s clearest beaches. For anyone travelling in, this is less about flying to Lisbon for another festival and more about disappearing outside the city for the weekend. YARD's Next Chapter The collaboration arrives during a significant year for YARD. Its White Sand Mountains events have already welcomed names including RY X, Bonobo, PAWSA, Ahmed Spins, Rampa, Adam Port and Disclosure, while the concept has also begun expanding internationally with events in destinations including Rio de Janeiro. Now, YARD is closing the season by bringing another established international concept into its own world. The Moment has its identity. YARD has its setting.
