London venue The Cause scales up with a multi-stage festival and broadcast hub dedicated to global independent radio.
The Cause is expanding its footprint with New Frequency, a one-day festival and digital broadcast platform launching July 25th. The event shifts focus to the architects of community radio, moving beyond standard club programming to highlight the stations that maintain the underground's ecosystem.
Confirmed partners include heavyweights like Radio Alhara, Refuge Worldwide, and Seoul Community Radio. Each station will curate its own stage, bringing a mix of residents and breakthrough talent to the venue's open-air and indoor spaces.
Simultaneous with the physical event, The Cause is launching a dedicated broadcasting platform to stream all sets live. This move solidifies the venue's evolution from a temporary club space into a permanent multi-channel cultural hub.
Tickets go on sale June 17th. The announcement follows a busy year for the team, who recently added Dalston's Marquee Moon and Hackney Wick's Vittoria to their portfolio.
