Sennheiser's latest flagship arrives with 57 hours of battery life and a rare user-replaceable power cell for improved longevity.
Sennheiser has expanded its Momentum line with the new Momentum 5. The flagship wireless headphones prioritize longevity, featuring a 700 mAh user-replaceable battery and a 57-hour runtime even with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) engaged.
Technically, the unit utilizes 42mm drivers and supports lossless hi-res and spatial audio. Connection is handled via Bluetooth 5.4, supplemented by an eight-microphone array designed for wind suppression and cleaner isolation.
The build quality sticks to the Momentum aesthetic with a fabric headband and rotating earcups for portability. It is a straightforward refinement of their mobile listening platform rather than a total redesign.
Pre-sales open June 23, with full retail availability on June 30. Expect to pay €399.90 / £329.90 for black, white, or denim finishes.
