The minds behind SBCLTR and Brunch Electronik are shifting focus to a permanent footprint in Downtown LA. ORIGIN promises a music-first environment designed specifically for high-fidelity electronic music and live performances.
The venue's technical specs prioritize clarity, featuring a custom analogue KV2 Audio system indoors and a dedicated setup for the outdoor terrace. Visual design is handled by Marc Dizon, whose portfolio includes Output and Brooklyn Mirage.
Programming will pivot between live acts on Fridays and a split schedule on Saturdays. Weekends will feature open-air daytime parties followed by late-night club sessions focused on house and techno fundamentals.
While no lineups have been announced, the partnership roster suggests a lean toward established underground curators and large-scale cultural programming.
