Ministry of Sound Is Turning Its Dancefloor Into a Fine Dining Experience Few venues have shaped global club culture quite like Ministry of Sound. Now, as the legendary London institution celebrates its 35th anniversary, it's introducing one of its most ambitious concepts yet—Last Orders, an immersive dining experience that blends electronic music, storytelling and Michelin-starred cuisine inside its iconic main room, The Box. Taking place on 9 and 10 September, the two-night event pairs renowned chef Brad Carter with pioneering house DJ Ralph Lawson, inviting guests on a multi-sensory journey through more than three decades of house music. A Five-Course Journey Through House Music History Rather than serving a traditional tasting menu, Last Orders has been carefully designed to tell the story of house music through both food and sound. Each course represents a different chapter in the genre's evolution, beginning in Chicago, the birthplace of house music, before travelling through New York, Ibiza, Berlin and finally London. Guests can expect inventive dishes inspired by the cultures that shaped electronic music, including: An elevated Chicago-style deep-dish pizza with braised squid and spicy nduja. A New York-inspired lobster and prawn roll fused with Cantonese-style prawn toast. A refined interpretation of Berlin's iconic late-night lamb kebab. Every plate has been created to complement a carefully curated soundtrack, creating a seamless dialogue between music, memory and flavour. Ralph Lawson Provides the Soundtrack Accompanying each course is a bespoke musical journey curated by Ralph Lawson, one of the UK's most respected house DJs. With more than three decades behind the decks, Lawson guides guests through the evolution of house music using selections from Chicago, Balearic house, UK house, disco and techno, celebrating the sounds that helped define Ministry of Sound over the last 35 years. The evening concludes with an intimate private DJ set, allowing diners to experience The Box exactly as it was designed—through music.
