Michael Bibi returns to ELOVATE with a track built around the 2000s-era Nokia ringtone, marking his latest move following a high-profile recovery year.
Michael Bibi is back on the grid. His latest single, 'Mobile Groove,' dropped today via his ELOVATE imprint. The production centers on the monophonic ringtone of the Nokia 3310—a sound that has defined turn-of-the-century tech nostalgia for a generation.
The track started as an informal experiment. Bibi developed the idea after his brother sent him a video of the legacy handset, evolving the rhythmic pulse of the ringtone into a club-ready tool. It follows a prolific period for the Solid Grooves co-founder, who recently celebrated the label's 100th release.
Beyond the studio, Bibi has leveraged his One Life brand to maintain a heavy focus on philanthropy. Recent surprise sets in Ibiza and large-scale shows in London have raised significant funds for cancer charities, following his own successful battle with the disease in 2023.
'Mobile Groove' is available now across all major streaming platforms.
