Martin Garrix reunited with U2's The Edge on the Tomorrowland mainstage to premiere their latest collaboration, 'Fireflies'.
Martin Garrix used his Friday night headline slot at Tomorrowland to debut 'Fireflies,' a new collaborative single with U2. The Edge joined Garrix on stage for the live premiere, marking their second high-profile link-up following 2021’s 'We Are The People.'
While 'Fireflies' currently lacks a formal release date, Garrix confirmed via social media that the track is finished and arriving soon. The performance anchors a heavy release cycle for the producer, who has recently rolled out collaborations with Madonna and Ed Sheeran.
Garrix’s set also leaned into festival-formula highlights, including DubVision’s 'Levels' mash-up and a refreshed edit of his breakout track 'Animals.' The Dutch artist closed the first day of the festival, which continues through July with a heavy-hitting roster featuring Amelie Lens and Armin van Buuren.
Elsewhere on the grounds, Miss Monique launched her new 'Biorhythm' audiovisual concept at the Freedom stage, while Amber Broos performed a back-to-back set with her father under the Daddy Broos moniker. Tomorrowland 2026 runs across two weekends in Boom, Belgium.
