Marlon Hoffstadt has confirmed his next long-player, 'Das Ist Daddy', arriving August 7 via Capitol Records. The project follows a high-profile teaser via Coachella's Sahara Stage screens earlier this year.
The eight-track selection features a collaborative roster including Rose Gray and Niko Rubio. Leading the release is 'Party People', a single that centers on a heavy-lifting sample of Marshall Jefferson’s 1986 house pillar 'Move Your Body'.
Operating under his DJ Daddy Trance moniker, Hoffstadt continues a trajectory defined by high-bpms and effective, referential club music. The album is framed as a tribute to the community that has fueled his recent ascent.
The release is managed in partnership with Goodlife and MC3. Visuals for the lead single are available now alongside pre-orders.
