Lukas Cole, known as Lukas Wigflex, has officially cut ties with Peep Festival and canceled his upcoming touring schedule. The move follows a Substack post by his former partner, Avarni, which detailed a history of psychological and financial abuse, intimidation, and coercive control.
Peep Festival issued a statement confirming Cole will no longer perform at, profit from, or be involved with the event in any capacity. The festival team noted they were saddened by the recent disclosures and shifted focus toward community safety.
Cole addressed the allegations via Instagram, stating he feels collective shame for his actions and taking responsibility for his avoidant behavior. While he admitted to emotional and financial misconduct, he issued a categorical denial regarding allegations of physical abuse.
Effective immediately, Cole has withdrawn from the industry to pursue therapy. His departure leaves the future of his long-running Nottingham brand in question as the community processes the impact of these reports.
