Summit premiered an unreleased rework of the 2010 classic during his Swedish debut at Förbindelsehallen.
John Summit utilized his first-ever Stockholm performance at Förbindelsehallen to debut a new remix of Avicii’s 'Seek Bromance.' The rework takes on Tim Bergling’s definitive 2010 melodic house anthem, moving beyond Summit's usual tech-house aesthetic into more emotive territory.
The timing of the premiere was deliberate, coinciding with his first set in Sweden and his ongoing Experts Only residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza. Summit noted that he had been holding the project for years, waiting for a context that felt appropriate to honor the original’s legacy.
Originally released under the Tim Berg alias, 'Seek Bromance' remains a foundational pillar of late-2000s electronic music. While the remix became an immediate focal point of his European tour dates, there is currently no word on an official release date.
This performance follows recent renewed interest in Avicii’s catalog and the ongoing work of the Tim Bergling Foundation in Sweden. For now, the track exists solely as a high-impact ID in Summit's touring rotation.
