Arrested as part of Operation Pertinax, the Ibiza regular faces a nine-year sentence for allegedly coordinating an international narcotics network.
Hugo Bianco, a regular at Amnesia and Pacha Ibiza, has been sentenced to nine and a half years following a joint investigation by Spain’s Guardia Civil and U.S. Homeland Security. The court identified Bianco as the logistical lead for a network moving MDMA, cocaine, and ketamine between Ibiza, Barcelona, and Miami.
In addition to the prison term, Bianco faces a €3 million fine and charges of criminal membership and electricity fraud. The 2020 raids yielded 38kg of cannabis, 40kg of MDMA, and liquid ketamine across multiple international sites, including Bianco’s Ibiza residence.
Bianco is currently declared a fugitive. He is believed to be in Miami after failing to respond to Spanish court summons. While the Balearic High Court has upheld the ruling, the DJ retains a final right to appeal at the Spanish Supreme Court.
