Broadening the scope of her 'HUMANiSE' project, HAAi returns with a 10-track LP designed for the floor, lead by the Pat Alvarez-assisted title track.
HAAi has detailed her second studio album, DIGITiSE, slated for an October 9 release on Mute. Originally conceived as a companion to 2022’s HUMANiSE, the project evolved into an independent body of work focused on functional, multi-genre club tools.
The title track, featuring producer Pat Alvarez, serves as the record's core. HAAi describes the production as a direct response to her all-night-long DJ sets, prioritizing sonic versatility and dancefloor utility over the conceptual ambient textures of her previous outings.
The 10-track LP features a diverse collaborative roster, including Echonomist, Skybreak, and James Messiah. Unexpected additions like the Colombian children’s choir Cantoalegre suggest HAAi is still balancing her club-centric focus with experimental vocal layering.
DIGITiSE follows a period of heavy touring and high-profile remixes for the Australian-born, London-based artist. Pre-orders are currently live via Mute.
