Gorillaz to release documentary on landmark Tottenham Hotspur Stadium concert

A new film captures the logistics and performances of Gorillaz' first-ever stadium headline show in London.
A documentary detailing Gorillaz’ recent performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is in development. The 70,000-capacity event marked the band’s first stadium headline show, following the release of their ninth album, The Mountain.
Jamie Hewlett led a film crew to document the production from multiple angles, capturing on-stage performances, backstage interactions, and the arrival of fans. The film will integrate live footage of Damon Albarn’s band with the group's signature animated members.
The showcase featured a high-profile guest list including Little Simz, Yasiin Bey, Johnny Marr, and Shaun Ryder. According to Hewlett, the project aims to show the global coordination required for a production of this scale, following artists from international flights to the post-show cleanup.
The 31-track setlist spanned the band's career, pairing newer material with established staples like 'Clint Eastwood' and 'Dirty Harry.' Release details for the documentary are yet to be announced.
