Franky Rizardo has officially withdrawn from a planned release with Pete Tong. The move follows public accusations from John Summit, who claims Tong hijacked his collaborative version of Everything But The Girl’s 'Missing.'
Summit shared WhatsApp exchanges suggesting he and Tong were working on the track together before it was slated as a Tong and Rizardo exclusive. Rizardo clarified he was unaware of the background conflict, stating the release 'no longer feels right' despite his initial excitement.
The Dutch producer will keep his edit as a set-only weapon for now. While both Summit and Rizardo have been rinsing their respective versions since March, the official release remains shelved until the industry heavyweights resolve the ownership dispute.
