An industrial stretch of the Port of Brussels is about to become a 5,000-person house music dancefloor. On August 29, 2026, Brussels collective Balagan World will take over Quai de Heembeek for its biggest production to date, bringing together Folamour, Seth Troxler and Jamie 3:26 for a full day of house music beside the water. Belgian selectors TOOLATE Groove and Rozental complete the lineup. The event marks another significant step for a collective that only staged its first Brussels open-air at the Silo last year and has since continued expanding its presence beyond Belgium. Three Generations of House Meet in Brussels There’s something particularly fitting about the lineup Balagan has chosen for its biggest event yet. At the top is Folamour, whose warm, groove-heavy approach to house and disco has taken him from intimate dancefloors to stages at Coachella, Glastonbury and Tomorrowland. Alongside him comes Seth Troxler, bringing the deep musical knowledge and unpredictable selection that have made him one of underground electronic music’s most recognisable figures. Then there’s Jamie 3:26, connecting the day directly back to Chicago and the foundations of house culture. Rather than building the event around one sound, the three headliners represent different generations and interpretations of the same culture. Local talent remains part of the equation too. Brussels producer TOOLATE Groove brings his soulful, jazz-influenced house sound, while Balagan World resident Rozental rounds out the bill. An Industrial Dancefloor by the Water The location might be just as important as the lineup. Quai de Heembeek sits within a working section of the Port of Brussels, replacing the conventional festival field with concrete, industrial architecture and the canalside running alongside it. It’s exactly the kind of unconventional setting Balagan World has been building its identity around. Following its first open-air at Brussels’ Silo in 2025, the collective is now scaling the concept up to 5,000 people for its largest production so far. For a party centred around house music, there’s something refreshingly simple about the formula: a distinctive location, one stage and a tightly curated lineup. From Brussels to Beyond Founded by Brussels friends Johan Kirszner and Alon Zur, Balagan World has gradually moved beyond its home city, expanding into Paris, Milan and London.
