Tomorrowland resident Amber Broos shared the House of Fortune stage with her father and mentor, Joeri Broos, for an hour-long set blending techno and legacy classics.
The mentorship of Joeri Broos—founder of the Belgian school Begin To DJ—came full circle at Tomorrowland 2026. The duo, performing as Amber Broos and Daddy Broos, delivered their first public B2B set on the festival's opening day.
While Amber has become a staple of the Tomorrowland ecosystem through her One World Radio residency, this performance leaned into her origins. Joeri was responsible for Amber’s early training, teaching her the fundamentals of the craft as a teenager.
The hour-long session moved through a curated selection of fresh techno, personal productions, and archival records selected by Joeri. It was a functional demonstration of how electronic music knowledge is passed down through lineage rather than just algorithms.
Beyond the sentiment, the set focused on the core purpose of the House of Fortune stage: storytelling through selection. For Amber, the debut marks a significant milestone in a career that remains deeply rooted in her Belgian foundation.
